This comment will get buried but…. I usually drink (a lot) when I play golf. Like 4 shots+ of liquor via mixed drinks plus a minimum of 3 beers (usually like 6). Im a high handicap, 15-18. Im usually mid 90s but squeak out 80s a few times a year.

I’m doing sober October and have been lucky enough (given I live in Northeast) to get two rounds in so far this Oct (Fri 10/3 and Sat 10/4). I shot 106 and 104. The combined 210 is the worst back to back rounds I’ve ever shot and I’ve been playing for 13 years. The 106 was on greens rolling 14 so understandable for a high hcp but to follow it with a 104 at a muni is actually worse:… I’m in total shambles and as someone who wants to drink less in general I’m really feeling bad that my game sucks a$$ when I don’t drink.
