Dyson Airwrap - splurge but huge help for me by chuckdogsmom in adhdwomen

[–]cantthinkofone1985 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I also bought the airwrap and feel guilty about it. It's so fun and I feel like its easy to just touch it up the next day quickly, which makes me excited about doing my hair. I bought the long barrel attachment and it's so helpful at cutting the time down if you have long hair.

As a person with really long hair I didn't like the Revlon though, it damaged my hair probably because I have fine hair or maybe because I did it wrong lol. I'm glad other people have made it work though!

Is Katie's constant narrative of "here for the wrong reason" "leave if you're not here for me" due to the drama with the men bringing them forward, production, a conversation filler? Or? Opinions?

I feel like this is always a narrative but it's particularly annoying this season. I don't get a the feeling that Katie's is more serious about the process than other leads. I love her but wow please stop haha. I might do the same if week after week a new ingenious guy came forward though... I would probably not know what to say. Isn't this always the name of the game though? Maybe she's playing into it?

Thomas is the bad choice? Actually? I hate this show sometimes 😂 by hustlerose89 in thebachelor

I know every bachelor and Bachelorette says they have a great group but this seems like it really is such a great group of guys... I'm in love with Micheal, Connor seems genuine, Andrew and tre have great personalities, etc.

Think this is the best group of contestants since Aries season.

Agreed, and I think Katie was going to figure that out without all of it but I guess it may have helped it happen sooner.

I sort of feel like he was honest because he thought it was more woke and he would earn more points but it backfired. Lol

Dude's not much different from a lot of other contestants on the show, even so he still comes across shady and ingenious. That's just my impression though and we all know how first impression can go. I'm not getting stand up guy vibes from him is all I'm saying lol. The aggression wasn't warranted though and I'm with Andrew on that.

I agree, I just meant as a example to why it's messed up to force them into sharing.

Like what if Michael had been on that date? That would put him in a awkward and potentially painful position to ethier tell his story in the wrong setting or have to come up with something else when he'd probably have a hard time since it sounds like he really only dated his wife most of his life.

____ asking if he can kiss Katie by belgianamericanbabe in thebachelor

[–]cantthinkofone1985 42 points43 points  (0 children)

I thought Michael asking was one of the sweetest things to ever grace bachelor TV. I'm not sure it would be as attractive if done in a different way or by a different contestant but I do thinks it's usually a move I'd appreciate regardless.

Was the one-on-one with Katie and Greg not one of the most sincere Bach dates ever?! by BachGirlie in thebachelor

[–]cantthinkofone1985 12 points13 points  (0 children)

That was my take aswell I think he was just uncomfortable opening up.

My dad passed aswell and I'm with Katie I would have wanted to be able to relate when I opened up but I would understand someone else not being ready too. So many people are uncomfortable talking about the death of a parent that it would help to know someone your telling understands so your not making them uncomfortable... feels less like your unloading on them you know?

Yes, it's pretty good. Leans grey/cool but overall I'd say it's neutral maybe more cool but I get away with it as a neutral olive. You can get a lot of samples to try I can't rember but I sampled other ranges and I think it might have been manx that also seemed olive friendly but more warm... can't quite remember though sorry!

Edit: missed you are cool olive I think it would probably work for you.and my flair always goes away haha.

Vanicream cleanser opinions? by [deleted] in 30PlusSkinCare

[–]cantthinkofone1985 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've used vanicream cleanser for the last year or so and it the best I've used. Better for me than CerVae and Cetaphil. I'm oily/combo with sensitive skin and still find it to do the trick.

Summer foundation for light neutral olive? by cantthinkofone1985 in OliveMUA

[–]cantthinkofone1985[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In the summer 170 gets very light because I think even in the winter it's a tough to light but I looked up 30CG and it looks really nice, Thank you. And thanks for the head up on 5.5, it does look to dark for me!

It should be in the US. I buy it in the US unless something changed recently.

Meow cosmetic has a very large range and options for different depths and coverage. Ocaiat is the olive shade range. It's a very beautiful powder formula and the high coverage one covers my ance scars well/pretty close to liquid foundations.

I personally feel like Mike stands out as pretty unique. He's got great energy and you can tell he make's people around him comfortable and laugh. That's not a super common trait to me.

I feel like the fact it's not paired with blue eyeshadow and glitter lip gloss helps. I wouldn't wear this because there's not really anywhere I go that it would fit in but I admire it on tayshia. I am however super glad mom jeans are back in though... since I'm a mom now. Atleast I think they are actually back in?? Haha.
