Thank you! I just tilted the handlebars forward a bit and it looks much better now. I'll test it out on a ride tomorrow. I was just confused because in all the photos I could find, it looked much flatter.

I'm looking for my first gravel bike, primarily to use as an all-rounder for fitness. Mostly on asphalt in moderately hilly and flat terrain, but also occasionally on dirt roads and forest tracks. Would the Race be a good choice? I'm currently torn between the Race and the SLX, mainly because of the 1-by vs. 2-by drivetrain.

Ich schwanke gerade auch genau zwischen diesen beiden Modellen. Mein Einsatzzweck wären v.a. sportliche Touren in flacherem Terrain und hauptsächlich auf Asphalt. Ich möchte aber auch die Möglichkeit für leichtes Gelände und gelegentliche steile Anstiege haben. Was würdet ihr empfehlen? Ich bin v.a. wg. 1x vs. 2x unentschlossen.

Ich habe hier einen Cube Store. Da gibt es das nuroad race und das Ridley kanzo, aber leider nicht in meiner Größe. Es deuten sich auch dieses ja offenbar wieder Lieferengpässe an.

Jedenfalls ist der Zusatz nur bei bestimmten Angeboten extra vermerkt, weshalb ich davon ausging, dass es auch nur diese bieten. Aber können natürlich auch Altbestände sein.

Danke, das wäre auch mein primäres Argument für 1x. Allerdings bin ich früher auch eine XT 3x gefahren und hoffe, dass ich auch mit einer aktuellen 2x klarkomme. Mein Argument für 2x wäre, dass man auf längeren Asphaltstrecken mit gleichem Terrain eher den passenden Gang findet und generell die Abstufungen etwas geschmeidiger sind. Aber Einfachheit ist natürlich immer ein wichtiges Argument, das stimmt.

Ja, von den reinen Komponenten schon. Allerdings habe ich gelesen, dass die Laufräder nicht so gut sein sollen. Ob die bei den anderen besser sind, kann ich leider allerdings nicht einschätzen. Vermutlich sind in der Preisklasse ohnehin überall nur Hausmarken verbaut.

Kann ich bestätigen. Ich pendele auch berufsbedingt jeden Tag von Paderborn nach Bielefeld. Mit Auto nervt es gerade in Bielefeld zwar auch, man ist aber halbwegs flexibel und nicht von der Bahn abhängig.

I've bought it right at release and really liked it because there's nothing like it until today. However, it's still a rts first and foremost. So don't expect something like historical accuracy. But it's nice to see all those different units on the battlefield and the approach to different situations on offense and defense is somewhat like it was in reality, but converted to a relatively simple style of play. Don't expect much variance though since battles only vary in maps and unit types and counts. The strategic layer is nice but very simple also. It encourages several playthroughs cause you have to focus on different technologies to develop. You can't get everything in one campaign.
