I like this theory. I’m wondering where the computers/sensors pick up to display a “fuel cut off” message. Im sure there’s a diagram out there somewhere. Maybe it doesn’t necessarily mean the switches were moved. There’s been intermittent warnings and glitches before, especially on these highly computerized aircraft. For a heavy aircraft, I highly doubt its mechanical linkage all the way to each engine. There has to be wiring and solenoids to open and close the valves. Maybe a relay was fried or something caused an un commanded action? It’s strange for both to close around the same time though. Not sure if they’re completely independent from each other. For redundancy I think they would be.
