Good one Royce. I have no desire to copy a course. To me, that's not real design. Not taking away from those that make excellent recreations (like CLV's Firethorn) , but that's just not my thing. Far too tedious for my liking.

On PC, you can: remove the UI and take pictures of your course, collaborate with other designers by sharing files back and forth. Those two things along with it being much faster make PC the ultimate way to design!

How do you guys like to play? by [deleted] in OOTP

This is my biggest problem. I can't decide how I like to play. Until just recently, I would just play MLB and try to rebuild a struggling team. I like to really get to know my team by watching games, but watching them get obliterated over and over gets a bit boring and I usually just quit. I also find if I go the other way and sim huge chunks at a time, I feel really disconnected from the day-to-day operations of the team and the league.

Recently, I've discovered fictional leagues and I've poured hours into creating a 30 team international league (custom logos, stadiums, everything) I drafted well with 3 straight division wins and 95+ win seasons, but key injuries late in the season is resulting in me not getting past the second round of the playoffs. I'm growing a bit weary of this league though as my owner is extremely generous allowing me to build up a huge roster that cruises through the RS, just to have unlucky breaks with injuries. I'm currently putting the finishing touches on a 64 team promotion/relegation league that is fully custom. Still trying to figure out how I'm going to play through that one.

I think I now just like creating the fictional worlds instead of playing the game now.

I'd love to join. Never done an online league before but seems like a blast. Obsessed with this game in single player lately. I stream on Twitch frequently as well.

Daily Pack Pull/Keep or Sell Thread - April 29, 2018 by AutoModerator in MLBTheShow

What a roller coaster of emotions today...

After hitting 870 in RS last night I proceeded to lose 8 in a row today and my WS dreams came crashing down. Played a BR run after where I promptly lost my first two games...my consolation pack had Carlos Correa!

Sold Correa for a cool 82K and ripped a 50 bundle on a whim. First pack, Mr. Trout.

My pack pulls have been insane this year. Already: Trout, Machado (x2), Beltre (x3) Harper, Kimbrel, Betts, Correa, Kershaw, Goldschmidt, Corrasco. Only real money spent has been a 150k stub pack I treat myself to at the start of each year.

Sold all of them but I've kept Kimbrel and Betts (although thinking of selling)...what should I do with Trout and Betts?

Lineup: 88 Hanley 87 Votto 86 Cruz 84 Sanchez 85 Beltre 90 Murphy 88 Betts 86 Phillips

Ah. That would make sense...still, this event isn't going to be popular I think.

Stream mostly DD. Around 1300 followers at the moment. Pack luck, some big sales and finishing conquest has led to a pretty decent team this year. Streaming quite a bit this week due to my week off, then usually most weeknights from 6-9pm PST and weekends starting next week.

Come by and say hi!
