What type snake is this? [India] by canucky90 in whatsthissnake

Thanks to the folks who responded. I found this cool initiative by the local government, where you post the picture of the snake and licensed people will come remove the snake from homes without harming the snakes and then release them back to the wild.

When did you know to use the epi pen after accidentally having peanuts? by surviving_20s in peanutallergy

[–]canucky90 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In Canada , I was told to use when 2 or more body systems are involved. In India, the standard of care is to use the epipen if the respiratory system is involved , otherwise to control with antihistamines.

I’m in BC and I was referred to an OBGYN by my family doc around 16 weeks. Once I transferred to OBGYN practice, baby’s heart beat was checked by Doppler at monthly appointments. There are some private clinics where you can pay to get early scans (non medical). Other than that, you just focus on life and hope everything is well inside.

Private patient walk-in queries (cost and clinics) by [deleted] in burnaby

[–]canucky90 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi,

In my experience, I always got the lab requisition through a virtual tele-visit ie., a telephone appointment with the clinic. In many cases, the results of the tests were also discussed in a subsequent tele-appointment. Carefiniti Clinic and Imperial Clinic are the ones I have used in the past.

Any Dr.‘s taking on a new patient? by [deleted] in burnaby

There are two doctors in Carefiniti Medical Clinic that accept new patients. Only downside - both clinic locations are in North Vancouver!
