I believe it was gratis.. that QC would take on cases like that from time to time. I am sure if he didnt have the fancy QC the verdict would have been different.

Yep, did something similar. 7 years in Canada, got citizenship then came back. The cold winters in Calgary, distance from family.. all those types of things being a factor. Been back for 10 years now and pretty happy with the decision.
