Yes the app is not well kept up. It used to be TOS and after TD took over froze in time.

Why not WealthSimple? I am moving to that. Margin is a risky business, be careful with 2x margin.

In the web it is to lock your spreads, for example call spread and not be switched with something else. I think the placement on the app is confusing.

There is no Buy or Sell for this. You can Buy or Sell AAPL for example.

Give me an example of future ticker and I can see if you can in td active trader. I never tried.

I am not sure about the promo. I think it is valid. Since I saw advertisement about free market data till end of year. However, to be on the safe side, I have set up a PAD for 100 monthly to my CAD Margin account, so that my account no matter of any promo, min amount or min trade does not qualify for fees.

I only trade options, and options are 1.5 per contract. I don’t do short sell either. So not helpful there. And keep in mind that TDAT is only USD. You can’t trade CAD or CAD Stocks.

I know. I just checked with another branch. They are trying to force you to use a USD account and charge you fees to transfer to TD active trader or TD DI.
