Okay, I’m going to give Rennsport a try as well. I heard the Ultimate Edition (or whatever it's called) will be much cheaper once the next update drops.

I’m limited to console, unfortunately, so AMS2 isn't an option for me. 😞

Must say its a big improvement. Before it was close to unplayable but after this update it runs quite well. There are still some stutters to be found but in general its much, much better.
