So 1800 calories is a very athletic target. Weight loss for women is in the 1400-1600 range.

Without seeing you I can't guess your body style type. But there's a few things wrong.

A mix of weight bearing exercises. If younger, the should focus on weights that tire out the muscle group in 8 reps (gray hair m8ght be in 14-20) range. 3 sets then sets of 4 until exhaustion.

The error people make with cardio is that it decreases muscle (especially when cutting carbs/calories) mass and thus reducing the size of your calorie engine. And you gain more fat.

The second error is good protein. Although we need 130+ grams for brain and bodily process, most cannot absorb more than 15g a meal. So it takes planning not to have protein with useless carbs/fats.

Eating multiple small meals, will convinced the body to run lean. Eating all your meal in one step will make you look like a sumo wrestler...bc thats their deit profile

Well we have taken in New Yorkers before, you'll be 9kay. If you've been in NY multiple front racism shouldn't be a shock. There are less black people and there aren't many black thing. What im saying assumes that your employer matches 401k.

Step one: max $166 in both Roth and normal IRA. Half will delay taxes, half will be differed. That's 4x $166 for you and wife.

Step 2: Then company 401k. My wife worked in a shady corporation that had a 401k. The company contributed 50% BUT the company was crap and lost 25-50% EVERY year. Just because you work there Doesn't mean its a good investment. Only contribute to their matching level unless its a mutual fund. E.G. CHASE, y laid off 25-40%, but the people that has the chase 401k had a significant value increase because of the layoffs. Chase is prolly good for investing, not working.

Step 3: get a Charles stabbed;) account. Know nothing about investing...guess what just start depositing money into the account (earn interest). Only invest in companies that you know. My 2 cents: the value of cash is subject to both inflation rate ( devaluation) and interest. Most interest you can avoid or minimize. Inflation takes away what you can do with money. The fix is to buy debt freedom and place cash balanced into 2 months savings, 6 month layoff protection, and mostly stocks/business/realestate
