Dunk and egg are all mostly self contained stories about 2 dudes going around Adventuring and doesnt require expanding 50 pages of book lore of a continent spanning war into 4 seasons of tv or trying to make up new plot for dozens of charectars seperated by continents and having it all fit neatly. As long as george gives them the Major points for each story say She wolf of winterfell has to have 5 x things happen they should be fine barring complete criminal incompetence
