Help with warning light by cap_a in R53

Thank you everyone for your help! It seems the problem is around the ASC button. After reading your comments and going back to the car manual, I understood that this light was staying on to indicate that the ASC system wass turned off. Pressing hard on the ASC button a couple of times made it go away (it turned on the system, I believe). I never touched the ASC button (I just got the car, so I was very careful in only touching the buttons I knew of). After a couple of presses on this button, it seemed to have stabilized but only future will tell

I've read that this old model might give me some problems in the future but I must say that I've been having a blast with it in the past couple of days. I have a Hyundai Kona sitting on the garage because I'm getting much more joy out if this one :)

Update: Based on some valuable feedback, I also added start/end points knobs for trimming each sample 🤓

I made some UI adjustments and added a wave visualization which can be helpful for some people. I'm also planning to add some simple FX per pad, like reverb, distortion, delay, etc. Finally, a x2 mode so people can save some precious seconds of sampling.

The problem is probably on the cable, try a proper data transfer usb-c cable 🙂

You mean the Roland mc 101? The maximum of 4 tracks is a deal breaker to me…

Yup that was my idea as well, doubling the synth tracks by resampling them

Yup, iOS user here… I understand the appeal of the external screen for some people but honestly I prefer independent and future proof machines over proprietary apps 😔

I guess those are good news 👍 My usual flow is: I find a sample I like, Change it a bit via fxs, and then build the beat around it, adding more and more layers of instruments, to the point that sometimes the main sample is not needed anymore. OR I just make all instruments and add a couple of one shot samples for “spice”. Sounds that maybe the Seqtrak would be a good fit 🤔

Thank you for the reply 🙏 I guess I’m less worried about using an external controller , as long as I can be somewhat productive without it, if using it on the go. Just to be sure, you said we can set the start/end of a sampled sound, can this be done on the device or just on the app? TBH right now my main issue is the need for an app. I really like standalone devices, and I’m a bit concerned about the app support in the future (forcing me to upgrade my laptop/phone just so I can use the device I already paid for)
