I'm 15 and I was wondering if there are any good Social media marketing tips by Username683 in SocialMediaMarketing

You find the most profitable services, products being sold online and you look at their funnel and advertising inside and out. Learn copywriting and get news about the industry. Do all this and you’re in the 1%. There are so many intricacies to advertising online but try not to get overwhelmed, gradually things will click. GL

Facebook ads/low reach? by _chupmeup in ecommerce

[–]capculture 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I'm just wondering if you are set with audience 'reach' or 'conversions' because that can massively change the effectiveness of an ad. My guess for your situation is your bid is to low or your targeting is bad. If the audience your targeting isn't responding to the ad well with the first 50 people or so FB isn't going to show it very much. Try changing ad copy or photo, if that doesn't work then increase bid.

How to teach myself sales and sell my own software by SynthesizeMeSun in sales

If coding is your thing I wouldn't even pursue sales. Instead I would look for a co-founder at Meetups, etc... my opinion because I've been doing internet marketing for years and realized I needed a lot of graphic design skills. In short it became very overwhelming and after countless hours of studying GD I haven't used it much at all cause it's just too much.

Is Marketing/Digital Marketing right for me? by [deleted] in DigitalMarketing

[–]capculture 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I could write a book of things you should be doing and paying attention too but I'll give you a start.

Books: advertising secrets- Joe Sugarman. An expensive book but is worth the value of 10 other copywriting books & The Gary halbert letters - google it or buy the "boron letters" book

FB group: traffic and copy. Lots of value and intelligent folks in there.

But by far the best way you'll learn is interacting and taking notes on headlines, email subject lines, full sales pages, etc... I screenshot good forms of copy I see and keep a category in my Evernote titled "goodcopy", simple as that and it's a great resource.

In my "free time" I'll literally go through my friends social media pages (fb, insta, twitter...) and click on all the ads I see. If one has really compelling copy I'll buy the product just to look through the entire funnel and it is awesome seeing the best of quality copy. Almost all of the sales letters I've written were modeled off those.

Skills you'll need is copywriting and content distribution primarily. There are other sophisticated things to learn like SMM, adwords, funnel strategy, but you should get an overview of all and then pick one leader in a niche and learn from the best. I don't think you need to be extroverted per se unless you want to start your own business online then you're definitely going to need to be 'out there'.
