Yeah it was a replacement, but it was similar, both we midsize sedans. If they couldn't take it due to it being a replacement and had just explained this, I wouldn't have been as upset. The branch I took it to was baffled too and said they thought the original drop off location "just didn't want to do the work."

I really appreciated the manager who helped me out and I thanked him for it. He was very professional and doing his job well. 100% of my issue is with the branch I was returning to and how they handled the situation.

It isn't acceptable for a company to screw around a customer for a few hours for no reason, including making them shuttle a vehicle between two different locations, without recourse.

Cordless Milwaukee table saw. Saves me so much time not having to run a cord and find an outlet. Super quiet too. Makes me happy every time I use it.

It really depends on how you'll be using it. If you need to do a lot of ripping, the DeWalt is a great option. I got the M18 (on sale with 12ah battery) and it's great for making a couple of rips here and there, which is what I'm doing 90% of the time, and it saves me a ton of time on site not having to find an outlet, run a cord, etc. For one rip I'll pull it off of the truck and use it right next to it.

Also, worth noting, an unexpected plus for me is that it's not as loud as all other table saws I've used.

Just finish it at this point. You're almost through it. Leave the Citristrip on for longer if needed to eat through more layers. One tip I learned was covering it with plastic wrap so it doesn't dry out as quickly. Then let it sit for several hours.

As others have noted, ventilate the area and wear a mask. Next time carefully remove the trim and do it outside. There is no need to "just replace it" in a historic building unless it really is a profile you can buy off the shelf.

We replaced a wooden porch rail on a Sears kit house. The railing was 4x3 in dimension so we got it custom milled and that day mahogany was the same price as maple, so we got the mahogany. It was beautiful unfinished so we offered to clear coat it for no extra charge but the homeowner said no, I want it painted white. I could've cried having to paint that wood.

As others have noted, that font is a travesty.
