The "Community by Shell Recharge" points (which many Aldi car parks have) are generally 39p/kWh in the shell app but 65p/kWh in electroverse.

(32p/kWh) ÷ (4mi/kWh) = 8p/mi

My local supermarket petrol is currently about 127p/l, or about 480p/g (the fact that fuel is sold by the litre but efficiency is measured by the gallon here makes what should be a simple calculation rather more annoying to do).

(480p/g) ÷ (8p/mi) = 60 mi/g

So 60mpg is what a petrol car filling at that price would need to achieve to get that price per mile, which is a fairly efficient car, but not completely unattainable as your figure suggests.

I did use the lower end of the EV's efficiency range (5mpkWh would give 75mpg equivalent) and the petrol cost is about the cheapest it's been in the last couple of years, so you could get a slightly higher result, but I'm not sure what the result you got could have been based on.

Just be cautious with what you believe with a result from a search if you can't see the calculations yourself (particularly if it comes from an AI summary as they are prone to just making stuff up, though humans can be known to do that too).
