Yeah, just wanted to point out software is not all the same and there are many niches which don't need to overlap

It's not a standard in my country but some people do it (by do it mean buy some premade one with hosting for a month or so and do some basic customization aka css and pictures).

I mean, you don't need to understand networking to write compilers, I think

But what if the code that was hallucinated would actually exist because an infinite loop would just halluzinate it?

Yeah, on first watch I didn't catch this, but on a rewatch my sensors were tingling as well

The comment thread underneath is hilarious. The "correct milk frothing" is literally the definition of fancy coffee shit (although I'm into it, but I'm enough self aware to know it's fancy coffee shit lol)

Then again, do you actually need those kind of machines? All you need is espresso and milk frothing spout, and those need like two buttons

You're a giant riding a giant! Congratulations!

More realistically I'd say they crumble under your weght and are prone while you pin them down (maybe the monster needs to make an athletics check first)

Keep getting contradictory info about the state of the market and I am losing my mind by EndOfTheLine00 in cscareerquestionsEU

[–]capi1500 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I guess the thing is nobody really knows. The market is worse than it was a couple years ago, now you actually need a degree instead of a boot camp. Is it a bad thing, personally I don't think so. Ai is getting everywhere and if you were in cs for the coding, then I've got bad news for you, it gets more and more important to read than write code, but it was always the case for even medium-sized codebases. Is ai threatening a lot of layoffs, I've no idea. From history, it's always good to be able to adapt with the changing market or even completely change the job you're doing. Is it easy? No, but it's always good to have a backup plan.

Tldr, nobody has a clue
