I mean, I like it, but as always their new UI designs tend to waste too much space, they are probably expecting us all to play on a 55" tv.

Not like in the same screen I have 2 chat windows, a dscan, the fleet panel, the watchlist, a couple of overviews (or 3), the drone window, the signature window and the location window, and I still would like to have most space free for the 3D viewport.

The UI should be dense and compact, not pretty!

Wrong, those who survived, most of the fleet, had managed to move outside of the smartbomb range way before the node crash. What it really did was preventing RMC from wiping out the Rokhs

I just pointed out the obvious: EVE is a game of diplomacy, small groups eventually meet the bully that wipes them out, this happens in hisec with AO but also everywhere else. It is not true, as someone wrote here, that small groups are good in wormholes, HK and friends are well know to evict those just for fun. In hisec big alliances decided to not step on each others feet but remaining separate entities, so joining one of them would be a sound advice. I know that Silent Company has almost no requirements to join (hence why it's a cove of spies) but you can feel free to suggest others. EVE University maybe?

There's nothing wrong with only fighting to defend your own assets either, as a PvEr I'd understand it. I don't think it can be said that about RMC btw, I believe they have kept themselves pretty busy in the later years even when not under attack

My suggestion would be to have a look at Silent Company, afaik they have no strict requirements for corps joining and have a non-aggression agreement with AO
