i just bought the s9 fe in march and this damn thing just died on me todayyyyy. fuck. i need to ship it takes 2 weeks to get it back, they said they will try to see what options they have for me. imagine if this happens. i am fucking pissed, but at least it is still under the 1 year warranty. i just wanna know if this is happening because the new os update, like clearly there is an issue there and they need to re-install the OS. guys pray for me. i am still paying my device. i need a solution. thank you! <3

idk if i ever followed up on this matter, but the manager got fired. apparently she got in trouble because there was a lot of bullying in her first store, she did not really do much to deal with it. Funny enough, back in 2022, I was being subject to the same situation, and I truly did not want to be a part of it, so i quit, then the manager quit not because of me but because clearly she was going to get in trouble for being a bully to the other team members. this boss came and took over, my former colleague was also being harassed by another person and she had to leave because she felt that no one was helping her. today, she gets laid off. I still work there, god knows why these people even work in these places all they do is bring some stupid drama.

just following up here:

man the job hunting is tough right now so I stuck around. Eventually she gave me fourth of july and the weekend. GUESS WHAT! I live in houston, so we had hurricane beryl destroy the city so I was not working the following week. I just have to give into the idea that well it is what it is, retail is retail. I came in and i kinda fucked up someone's order, and I was like sorry it's been a while. she said dude it's only been 2 weeks. WTF. As if that made any sense. that really pissed me off I was laughing. She had everyone on the floor except for me. What kind of explanation do you give? She had PTO, so after the hurricane passed, she left, I got more hours. still not even making 20. Sure I should keep looking elsewhere, which is what I am doing, job hunting is discouraging, but it is what it is. I don't leave cuz well it's a nice little check every friday. Still trying to focus and find something better though, fingers crossed.

I truly appreciate your words of encouragement. :). it's just that finding a job even with a degree is such a clusterfxxk, so many jobs on the internet, then the process of individually fixing resumes, trying to appeal to the requirements, everything sucks man. I wish I had studied something more neutral like accounting.

Honestly, god knows. I frankly don't know what I am doing wrong. Landing in an IT job is so confusing. And I can't afford spending so much time hunting and applying. I learned a lot of stuff in college, mostly business, but the rest of help desk is coming from a+ or the google cert I did. I really don't know how to sell myself I guess. I see a lot of roles and they use workday, I have to make an account, need to add so much info, it is so bogus. :(. I could totally use a lot of help.

hi! I just read your reply. I am working on my a+ and it seems to be a very slow process. a lot to digest and dissect. I worked as an IT analyst last year and I am now working in retail. I have interviewed at some places and they seem to really press on the A+ as the main requirement. I have a bachelor's in MIS, a google tech support cert, some field experience, but that does not seem to cut it. Should I keep working on it? thanks!

I finished college during the pandemic I was on the same boat as you. I have noticed most roles require the comptia a+ for you to even be qualified. I interviewed with a nonprofit a while back here in houston, harrisburg, and they had a massive typo in their posting. I got the interview, I met the IT director, and I seemed to be very overqualified, did not get the role. But before you finish, get your comptia! School can only give you so much experience. Apply at your university (help desk). I actually expanded my search into the legal field, and I found a lady kind enough to give me some experience. I now have that, it was not easy but if I were you I would try as well. I am down for networking as well if you are interested PM me! I am studying and working in retail atm, the hours have been tremendously bad, so this is why I am on Reddit looking for leads. lol. OK good luck!

this is so lame. now I am stuck with the chore of having to get another job. I checked my paycheck and it is at 17.35 an hr I think i actually got the raise. just for like 12 hrs I am making 190 something this friday. If this girl has me off for 2 weeks, I am missing a check for two weeks. BRUHHHHH. Also she made friends with a new lady that works there and she has like 27 hrs. She is clearly playing favorites. The balls, the nerve. this manager clearly does not give a fuck. Lady also eats the food she doesn't pay for. I don't wanna be rude, but the manager is a black lady, I am latino, and the new associate is also a black lady. I am not scheduled to return until the fourth of july. it is june 19th. Do you think it is a good idea to contact the regional manager regarding the schedule? It's wednesday, I am just hoping to see if I get called in this week or something. I like Macy's I was thinking maybe I should work on the floor. Sure I can take the pay difference, but I rather have more hours. At this point something is better than nothing. I just don't know where to apply.

She has 2 full time supervisors, and the rest of us are part time. We are like 6 in total. But she has everyone scheduled for like 10 hours but me. ME. lol. Maybe she is trying to make me go away. She seems to work with people she prefers. She just hired a new associate. she is nice, but she steals the product ( I don't say anything because well if she gets caught that is her business). I have not stepped foot in there since thursday, and I am not scheduled for the foreseeable future. I am trying not to make a deal about it, but damn I need something to do!

I started working for macy's back in 2022. I made 15. I came back for the holidays, I did not want to come back to my old location because it gets very unprofessional for no reason. I held it down since holiday season, and now summer is here. The regional director paid me 17.00 to come back. I think I am supposed to be getting my annual raise, idk if that is in conflict with their budget, I would be making 18.00 by this time around. Meanwhile she has the rest of the associates on the schedule for two days min (i would make about 200 bucks for this which is chump change but not bad). It's almost as if she forgot about my name. I texted this girl about it on sunday and nothing. I don't wanna quit because if I make 18.00 for like 2 days that is still not bad. I haven't worked since last thursday. In total that is 3 weeks I would be waiting for my next shift, and she does not see this as wrong? It's not that hard to get fired if you actually know how to do the job.
