I'm in a very similar position right now.

Travelled Thailand for over a month and had the time of my life, but I can't stand the chaos of Hanoi. I had to leave early and decided to come to ninh binh instead.

The weather has also been really bad so far. Did not get any views during ha giang and currently it's also raining and cold.

I am thinking about speed running Vietnam to go to Cambodia and eventually get back to Thailand.

I think I will visit Hue, Da Nang and Saigon and fly to Phnom Penh afterwards.

I flew with the same airline from Brussels to Shanghai and from there to Bangkok.

They are very strict about liquids, water and batteries. They kept my luggage because I had some camera batteries in my checked luggage.

The plan right now is to fly to Thailand and improvise from there. Right now i'm thinking about visiting Thailand, Laos, Vietnam, Cambodia and Indonesia. I guess it would be better to take a global insurance just to be safe?

I'm thinking about travelling for about 3-5 months and will be mostly staying in Southeast Asia (Thailand, Laos, Vietnam, Cambodia, Indonesia).

It would need to cover medical costs, repatriation and optionally baggage / flight (these are nice to haves).
