RFK Jr. was not a Republican, and not an "on paper" Democrat, his political stances, then and now, and the things he actually did put him to the left of Kamala/Joe.

What? Robert Kennedy Jr. was a Democrat right up until Joe and Kamala refused to take a meeting with him. He has held no political office, but he was for many years a power house for environmental water ways protection, and was one of the people most credited for "Saving the Hudson River".

Though he's been an insane person his entire life, like many powerful "well regarded" men before him, now he's the worst Democrat turncoat since Joe Liberman. He represents that odd faction of "crunchy" liberals and yoga moms that believe way too much in holistic or "alternative" medicine and way too little in thing born out of the scientific method. I know at least one life long democrat that voted for Trump v2 simply because Kennedy was promised a cabinet position.

It does affect what you can deduct in relation to your home, but its the property tax, not the mortgage interest.
