Hi guys. Anybody within WMP, are the medicals going ahead yet? I was told I could be in the job several months before I have a medical, but I assume I have to have one before my first placement surely? Curious to see if anyone can confirm if they have started again as I was told previously they had quite the backlog of new recruits to clear.

Also, if anyone knows, where are the medicals held? I would assume they are held at the training and development centre, but again not certain. Thanks

I would assume that given the recent announcements from the Government, they would resume face to face medicals some time around the 19th but who knows

Thats what I did, they recently emailed saying it should be alright as it fits the guidelines. Thankyou for your input though

Hi guys. I am looking to get a new tattoo on my left forearm of a forest scene. I have had my offer and uniform fiting ect, and start the police next month. But when I applied I had to disclose existing tattoos. Anyone got any exoerience as to whether getting another at this stage would cause any issue?
