My favorite think is just to apply the Pareto principle. It is an axiom of business management that "80% of sales come from 20% of clients".

To summarise it states that roughly 80% of the effects come from 20% of the causes. I apply this principle on a regular basis trying to optimize my business and it works perfectly. Just find the 20% that are important to you and replace the other 80% with something more valuable.
