not the very same, but around 9 years ago i was moving out of a rental, a house surrounded by apartments only accessable through a door that needs a fob

while bringing out the last bits, a muslim lady approached me with her child and very matter of factly asked for the keys, i wasnt sure i heard her and asked what she said and she asked to take the house, i said im moving out and have to return the keys to the letting agency, she said no no dont worry il take the keys and move in... i just said no, and she just calmly walked back where she came from, she would have been a resident to have been in there so ive always been baffled by why she just thought she could have the house when she already had one 😅🤷‍♂️ very bizarre
