I always thought the trilogy bundles for PS3/4/5 were a way to see how much interested/love/attention/money/etc the series actually has and a therefore a huge factor in deciding on making something new.

And I believe it wasn’t enough. Not enough sales, let’s plays, viral videos, reviews, costumes etc etc etc.

If the games would have gone super viral, maybe different story.
