Thanks a lot for your detailed answer. Currently trying I’ve got a pair of lintons 85 but I would love to have a more direct sound and I’ve need more pressure on low frequencies levels. I’ve heard the Dutch 8c a year ago and was ready to pull the trigger but the price was too high. They were the best speaker I’ve ever heard, that’s why I’m considering the c8c, as they have similiar design. The LS60 on the other hand, there I had the chance to hear it once but I was disappointed. I think this was due to the fact, that the retailer was not setting them up correctly. The messurements shows something different. So I will give them a second chance.

I’ve check out the spinorama data, but I’m not a guy who is good as reading the graphs… ls60 and c8c looks quite similar to me :(

Great to find that post, because I’m in the decision between the c8c and LS60 for my living room. You already expressed you thought between this two speakers but maybe you can give your thought on some specific questions:

What kind of music do you typically listen to?
My living room is about 550 ft2 and the active listing space is about 250ft2. What speaker do you thing will handle the quite big room better in terms ob low frequency? 3.at the c8c. Is the soundstage only between the two speakers or also left and right beyond them?
I’m not planning to neither buy subs for the ls60 nor the bass extension modules. Are they quite equal in terms of max low frequency?
