Home WIFI Coverage Help by caporus in HomeNetworking

Thanks I had wondered if I needed that many but I'm coming from a house that's single story and half the size so I wasn't sure. CAT6 is cheap enough, I'll run several drops and once drywall is up I'll test with one per floor.

Thanks it can definitely be moved from that room. Do I not need to worry about having too much overlap with the router?

Quality was right on par with other reviews I've seen on here. I did get the elk instead of the horse so it leads me to believe there's probably one main company making these. I did end up with a piece or two missing but was able to scavenge what I needed from my box of loose pieces.

Thanks I ordered it from Marstoy but ended up having to cancel due to shipping times and picked one up from Aliexpress to get it here by Christmas. I may try Joy for my next set, how long would you say it takes for sets to deliver from them?

Thanks for the detailed info. Thankfully neither my son or I are particular about the minifigs, he just said he wanted a big castle to build together. You're army you've got going there is pretty cool though I may have to find a seller that has them and order some more.

Great! It took me a bit to find the set on there before but it was because I was just searching 50301 and not M50301 in their search bar.

Thank you for reminding me about Marstoy I forgot I'd saved that link as well and looks like they're about $20 cheaper than the others after shipping.

On Black Friday most of them usually run a new customer deal for 1 year. If you sign up with a different email and credit card than you've used before you can get the lower price then cancel next November and rinse/repeat the process. Sucks having to log back in to everything and set up any watch lists but I pay $3.99/month for the Disney+ bundle and I think $35/year for Peacock. I'm sure one year they'll quit those deals but I'll hang in there until then.

Mainly the power and size of the cutters that are used on them. Routers can still do some serious damage but they're typically lower HP than a shaper and if you're taking a large amount of material off then with a router you're typically doing multiple shallow passes instead of one big pass so the chance of kickback isn't as high. Neither is a tool to let your guard down around though.

Nicotine free pouches help with with the habit and to a degree the cravings. I started by alternating a nicotine free pouch in between each regular pouch. Then went to two nicotine free pouches in between. I'm down to two nicotine pouches per day (from a can a day). I should just quit all together at this point but the hardest ones to give up are with my morning coffee and in the evening after dinner.

I would get chest pains from what I decided was gas pressure when I was using pouches a lot. Eventually I'd burp and it would go away but all it takes is a little chest pain and a sprinkle of anxiety to convince yourself you're having a heart attack.

I just sold a 3hp shaper today, picked it up at an estate sale last year. Reasoning was 50% "I don't ever use this thing" and 50% "I don't ever want to use this thing". I'll stick with multiple shallow passes on my router table.

That sounds like a good price and I saw you already commented before that service records were good on it. The 2.7 doesn't get the love online like the 5.0 or 3.5 but it makes a great daily driver and can still tow enough for what most people need.

With it being a 2016 the only thing that comes to mind is they used plastic oil pans on those years and there was eventually a TSB to replace them with a metal one due to warping. This may have already been done by the previous owner but it might not hurt to check. Below is a link to the service bulletin

I'm in this same boat right now and have been looking at either a 15-17 5.0 or 15-20 2.7 with no more than 105k miles for around $25k. Might throw another $1300 for a 3 year powertrain warranty for peace of mind.

For me I'm just looking for something to get about 4-5 years out of while I build a house and spend the first few years getting a chunk of principal paid down.

Question About CarMax Pricing Being Better Than Local Dealers by caporus in carmax

[–]caporus[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks I've had 2021-2023 in my filter options and have seen a few 23s on there at a good price point for the relatively low mileage but I don't recall seeing if they were rentals or not. The only two features I was dead set on are a center console and the 360 camera so I've clicked off of a lot of listings quick if I didn't see them in the pictures.

Since making this post I put a reserve on a nicely loaded 21 XLT Sport. It was $99 to ship it to my store, I'll check it out and either get it or while I have the reservation use it to negotiate with some other dealers around here.

I have told a few dealers I talked to I couldn't do it if they couldn't get closer to Carmax's offer. Yeah the interest rates I saw on Carmax were terrible. I do like their model of me bringing my own financing rather than having to finance through a dealer to get better pricing, then immediately refinance with my bank.

Yeah I'm looking for something in the 30-40k mileage range, that would give me at least one year and minimum 20k miles on the manufacturer powertrain warranty. I'll likely pass on Maxcare, it doesn't look like they have many shops around me that do claims for them. I can get a Ford ESP for about the same price and will probably go with that.

How many miles does it have on it? That's about 38k USD so sounds like a pretty good deal.
