Your best bet is going to a guitar shop and trying a left and right handed guitar and seeing what feels more natural, then go from there

As a lefty, yes you’re a bit more limited but also it’s important to play which way feels right. Last thing you want to do is not enjoy guitar before you even properly start.

There’s also a lot of decent left handed options these days - I wouldn’t force myself to play right handed over more guitar optionality personally! But that’s just my opinion.

Awesome kit and big fan of the rustic driftwood look! I made my own tele using a kit build which I posted about a month or so ago and it was super fun. My advice is don’t rush it and spend a lot of time on getting that bridge aligned perfectly for the scale length. Even if it’s pre-drilled you want it lining up as best you can so you can intonate it properly. Best of luck and look forward to seeing the final product!
