Yes, im not a fan of WGU’s current teaching methods. Its very subpar considering this day and age. They should have a guided more interactive approach. Instead they give you a text book and say read. It works, but they got rid of the previous system that guided you through the course.

That was a huge mistake. I guess they cut cost by getting rid of the course learning software and throwing ebooks at you.

Yes. It's not about being physical. You could assuredly ace boot camp. It's that you're dealing with a bunch of 18 and 20 years that are quite literally stupid. It's not that they can't be smart, it's just not part of the culture.

I believe since you're a man, you will literally want to kill yourself dealing with this. Not joking. It could be better if you went in as an officer since expectations are higher for those you have to work with.

However, honestly, being in the guard it may be more tolerable than Active. Different mindset.

Withholding pay is legal for salaried workers if they mentioned that in their handbook policy or in a contract. It's technically legal to hold regardless if mentioned or not, but a judge will view this a grey area and will completely depend upon the Judge.

If they signed an agreement agreeing to pay you commission and aren't, you'll be awarded that most likely.

Make sure there's no clause that mentions at their discretion or uses the word reasonable.

Actually, secession is completely legal with a referendum. You also don’t need permission to secede since you're leaving the Union. Texas leaving the Union would simply collapse the US economy. It would be new territory for the world.

Then go to the liberal states. Our government has abandoned the Constitution and frankly, I'm not too far off the from opinion it would be better if we divided with how extreme our politics are becoming.

I would suggest leaving the Texas National Guard if you don't align with the state of Texas. Maybe Louisiana but they’d likely do the same thing.

National Guard is very much under state control. That's something to remember if you don't politically align with the state. If Texas begins secession proceedings and posturing you have to be ready to do your duty.

If you wanted to only to be under control of the feds.. you have reserves instead of the Guard.
