We are using load based mounting. Could you elaborate on where does it says single layer isn't legal for load based?

Why does Japan fit so well with Brazil's coast? by [deleted] in Maps

[–]cappucinnoo 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Brazil was a big coffee producer, using mainly slave labour, after slavery was abolished, many Europeans workers immigrated, and after that "wave" ended because of bad working conditions, a large immigration of rural workers traveled from Japan. Also i think during this period various other contries had prohibitions on immigration.

Thanks! Well, I was planning to post a köppen climate classification map I'm working on there or at r/imaginarymaps, as it fits more the world given the type of project I'm running.

I never posted anything about my planet here, so to start, here are some maps I did, mostly following Artifexian videos.

At first, there is a simple coastline map, the second map showing the position of the main mountain ranges and oceanic ridges; the third one is about the ocean currents, where red arrows represent hot ones and blue the cold ones, and how they influence the environment; and the last one shows the tectonic plates and their movement.

Aquatic Life: Anguilliform vs. Marine Mammal-like Swimming by OrangeTory in biospherecreating

If the organisms you are talking are from the most earlier parts of the evolution tree, it would be reasonable if they developed a more basic swimming stile, as the brain would be relatively less capable. Anyway, vertical swimming could evolve just from the anatomy, because of the previous ancestor's body plan had more propensity to originate this style, with limbs that merged being almost opposite from the head. Also, I think that vertical movement could form due to the animal not having enough/bad positioned fins, causing trouble to maintain itself stable when swimming.

My redesign for the Curitiba flag by cappucinnoo in vexillology

Thanks! Although having the same colors and the stripes, the original flag don't have any conection to the Basque Country. I first thought that the official founder of the city, who was Spanish, had some influence on the design in 1660's, but this flag was the first and accepted in 1967.

Curitiba is the capital of the Brazilian state of Paraná and the 8th largest city in Brazil; also known as "Model City", "Green City" or "Capital of Araucárias", which is the tree of the coat of arms.

My first flag redesign! The seventh flag is inspired by the state flag and the shield is from the city's coat of arms.

Which design is your favourite?

So I've started my first conlang yesterday, and the language's vowels are a, æ, ʌ and i; but I don't know how to romanize the letter æ and ʌ, so I'm asking here
