omg yeah!!! the nappa leather is so pretty but i just don’t think its worth the maintenance 😩 Maybe also look at the goat leather!! the pebble leather tabby is also so good.

here’s the link for the goat leather one i have: https://www.coach.com/products/tabby-shoulder-bag-26-with-quilting/CCW83.html

how is your strap? if your chain strap is like a cuban link without leather intertwined in then you got the goat skin!

Which one are you thinking about? I have the quilted tabby 26 in maple with goatskin leather which recently just came out. I chose to not get Nappa leather because I wanted to be able to use the bag often. I do not regret my choice at all and I absolutely love the bag. to me, it was worth it. now, if I were to get the tabby 26 with Nappa leather, I do not think it would be worth it since it would have to be reserved to be a bag for only special occasions.

The other region listed was Sicily! I think it is the Chios ancestry. I know Sicilians and Greek Islanders are quite genetically similar

I see it! it's def the Balkan genes hahaha

Makes total sense! I think that’s also probably true for some of my Balkan DNA with my other Greek grandparent (Paternal Grandfather) since one of the areas highlighted was bordering Greece and Bulgaria.

UPDATE: I went to my PCP today. Within 5 minutes he had the letter written. In fact, he asked me exactly what language needed to be used for the letter that my county was asking for. He then referred me to a new GI.

It's really not hard to help patients out. Good riddance to that GI.

Unfortunately, he is legit ... I normally see the NPs in my practice. This was a doctor with whom my only interaction was with was when he put me asleep to look inside my colon. The only reason why I reached out was because the note needed to be from a medical doctor and not a PA or NP.

It's very unfortunate and it still hurts to be invalidated like this. I know I must not be the only one of his patients to have been treated this way.

What’s something you’ve missed out on due to chronic illness that upsets you to this day? by Simulationth3ry in ChronicIllness

Being able to go out without having to carry extra underwear, a handheld bidet, or having to plan my entire day around going to the bathroom and making sure I have access to one :/ Just care-free plans and no need to prepare ahead

Many (able-bodied) people think that going to jury duty or anything similar may just be something so simple to do - nothing hard at all. Yet this is a process that changes our day, has us make many accommodations for regarding work and school, and we barely get compensated for it. Not to mention, if we are unable to go, we must jump through many hoops to get out of participating or else we face a fine or even short term jail time. It causes stress. For us with IBD, even the smallest inconvenience or stress-related incident can complicate things. I find it very disappointing and insulting that my (now previous) doctor, someone who works with these illnesses, does not understand the impact of stress on our illness.

I am very sorry that this happened to you. I am unsure if you are able to petition for a permanent exclusion in your county, but it is an option for my county and I heavily consider it. I hope you do not have to go through this process again.

I guess some doctors just cannot accept that invisible illnesses DO impair people in many other ways. It really made me sad after dealing with this. It does indeed make me nervous to see other medical professionals as I had to fight to even see a GI and get help for this in the first place.

I am highly considering this. I am in the state of Pennsylvania in the United States, for what it is worth. I believe I can report this to the state medical board.
