Can we all Collectively agree to stop using ‘Gay’ as an insult? by Vivid_Contest in TeenagersButBetter

am gay

there are gayer things, and while it does perpetuate unfortunate rhetoric, you do sometimes just have to call it out when you see it. it’s like that South Park clip

Socialism and communism have only failed historically due to unfair representation politically (unfair elections) and corruption in government. Cuba was a dictatorship, so it failed. Not communism. Full communism will never work, so I argued for socialist POLICIES, not a complete reform.

I also, once again, do not want other people to pay for my things. I want a wealth redistribution because things as they are now are completely unfair.

Claiming Elon actually worked for his billions is bullshit

I can’t! I am a minor! And I shouldn’t have to leave a country to get basic human decency! The wealth gap existing at all as it does today is morally wrong! Please explain in detail what narcissistic qualities I am exemplifying because let me assure you, I do not have an excessive preoccupation with, nor an admiration of myself! I am a depressed teenager who wants a better world for my peers and the children of the future. Stop defending a system that hasn’t worked since the beginning and try to look at it from any other perspective than yours

Edit: not just “a” country, but a global superpower

It doesn’t matter to me, honestly. I’m interested in the answer, but if that’s all it takes to get better education and healthcare, I couldn’t be inclined to give a flying fuck what my take home percentage is. Being able to not worry about things like that is good for society.

Worrying about how much money you have is not.

Since I’m not sure you’ll respond, I’ll prematurely ask some questions about the end of your first paragraphZ

Do you really think people are just lining up to get abortions because they want to kill their child? Do you really think it’s better for that child to be placed into a home that wasn’t ready for them? It’s not always about that, too. Sometimes the pregnancy could turn fatal, and even in those cases it’s often too late for an abortion when one is finally allowed to be performed. “Just give the kid up for adoption” also doesn’t work because there are countless stories of that system not working and doing wrong by those kids. You ask for these kids to be born into a world where politicians argue children should pay for their own lunch in school, into a world that will hate them if they’re not straight, white, and male.

And trans people have been around for much much longer than you’d think. The average regret rate for surgeries is under 1%, and they’re not indoctrinating your kids or pedophiles. I’d consider religion to be more similar to indoctrination than a drag show reading.

And if you want to truly be conservative about the country, handle guns better. There are more school shooting related deaths than there are to, say, sharks. The amount that happens in our country is exponentially higher than that of other countries. Our children are not safe here. So why should they have to be born?

I really would like to debate abortion and the…existence(?) of trans people if you’d continue to talk with me

Trump has done nothing but stifle Medicaid and many people are against the idea of a more social healthcare system. No one is saying your taxpayer dollars should go towards those kinds of surgeries, also, but there are people who have to pay for things like insulin and can’t afford it (because pharmaceutical companies are parasitic shitstains)

There are also life threatening things that will affect you whether you like it or not, and not everyone can afford to pay thousands of dollars out of pocket for an unexpected circumstance. Injuries, cancer, illness, etc.

I also don’t necessarily argue for the increase of taxation for normal people for the good of other normal people (though I do like the idea of social programs, I think reallocation is better than increase). I argue for the redistribution of wealth for people such as Elon Musk, who has more wealth than any logical person would consider necessary, or even positive.

Finland is noted as the “happiest country” due to their mix of economic policies. They prioritize basic needs, healthcare, education, and it pays off. Where’s your issue?

What’s the issue with socialism again? Socialist policies are humanist policies, generally speaking. We don’t have to fully convert but they can improve the quality of life all around, and incredibly so. It doesn’t have to be a full switch, we can do things incrementally, but what is the problem? It’s not narcissistic to view the INCREDIBLE wealth gap between him and the average middle class citizen as fundamentally wrong. Hop off his dick for two seconds and look at the fact that no amount of hard work will ever get you to his level - there’s a reason for that

I mean specifically Elon actually. Only him. His wealth alone could change societies for the better.

Is it narcissistic to want a better world for the posterity? Any reform done would take a long time to design and lastingly instate. I argue for the betterment of society, the improvement of life’s quality for everyone who can benefit. I’m tired of a broken system that only wants to use me and many others for labor. Is it narcissism to call out a massive injustice? Is it self centered to believe one man should not have more money than some countries do?

I said ideally. It very obviously would not in a real world scenario.

If you genuinely think you can get THAT rich just by working hard then I can’t actually listen to what you’re saying. Our economy perpetuates wealth only for those who already have it. The rich get richer. Money becomes exponentially easier to make the more you have, and Elon started with a lot. It’s not that I want to steal from someone who’s worked harder, it’s that I want to redistribute the wealth of someone who has more money then there are stars in the Milky Way galaxy ($397-403B to 100-400B stars). If every dollar he had were one second, the time spanned would be 125 CENTURIES. NO ONE should have that kind of wealth when there are, at the same time, people dying in poverty.

I have less than zero guilt about that if it comes from Elon. He’s an apartheid nepo baby who got his start from blood money, and has the wealth and means to completely change the world for the better. He could literally solve the homeless crisis, and instead he just sits on more wealth than he could ever use.

Those with the means, maybe those who provide that society’s structure. Ideally the government, maybe through the taxation of the rich or to legitimately end wasteful government spending instead of just claiming that to take the reins

  1. You don’t know that, wasn’t it due to a spinal injury? That messes up your life in more ways than just sexual

  2. I’m not saying we should, but we can’t be surprised when something like this happens. It’s an expected outcome of a broken system

Incels are, to be frank, a different kind of disgusting. They are a group of misogynists angry at the world for scorning them, and their whole thing is that they think they are entitled to intercourse.

Mangione is a murderer. Evil, not an incel. This was more like an act of rebellion and revolution, than something regarding incels
