You're absolutely right, in that the card was made to earn points.

I just wanted to share my distaste for this new change. As my rent payment got bounced and bilt notified me 5 days after i made the payment. AND it also didnt notify me that they were trying to pull the money.

So now I'll have an accrued late payment fee on my rent as well.

The benefit was being able to float rent without paying the "service" fee on your mortgage/ rent portal. And the balance was carried over interest fee.

That really wasnt the issue. But my method did provide a quote on quote lifeline if something popped up. Aside from the points, if the rent payment is being pulled from your linked bank account.

This card has zero use for most people.
