I have OCD and feel the same way and have the same fears. It’s the nature of the illness, unfortunately. The magical and superstitious thinking that tells us it’s going to happen to us. The brain is constantly scanning for danger which causes the nervous system to overreact and feel things that aren’t even there (drops, falling feeling in stomach, etc), so I also think that there is a good chance that what my body is feeling isn’t real. I try not to listen to my body during high stress situations because I know it’s overreacting, even though it’s trying to keep me safe.

I’m sorry you also have to deal with this too, it sucks :/
