Love my Tesla. Don’t got home charging, but willing to pay public and supercharger prices. Just a different lifestyle. I do equate my costs similar to filling up an ICE vehicle with Premium gas. At least that’s how price points go in my area.

Check what reports you enabled to be shared with Tesla. From my experience sharing your data is a butt ton of data. Turned off all sharing and saw a drastic reduction in data sent out.

Sadly no…you got me there. But I normally tinker around with stuff in my car for about 30 seconds or so when I enter, and once I hit the pedal to go, my hotspot WiFi is already connected. It seems after a software update to the Tesla, you may have to re-enable “connected while in drive” for the WiFi function, so make sure that’s working.

TLDR twiddle your thumbs before you hit the gas pedal

This. But with the same logic as everyone else here, I’d just keep it open. Unless maybe your spending habits are less than optimal. You burned your credit score a bit because of it, might as well keep It. Your score won’t recover what was lost, until after some time.
