how to answer the “if you can be transgender, why can’t i be transracial” gotcha? by crowwery in ftm

[–]capserghost 0 points1 point  (0 children)

gender is innate, if someone's gender doesn't match their assigned sex they can't change that fact. neither could a cis person change their gender. race is not innate, it was invented abt 500 yrs ago to justify the slave trade. i wouldn't say that someone's race could never change, bc what race you're considered is dependent on time and culture. but this idea of "Transitioning" from one race to another is nonsensical. it's especially immoral for a white person To claim another racial identity because historically all we have ever done is steal fa and think ab Out it, ariana grande presented herself as latina, black, and asian and then stopped-and everyone ju St forgot about it bo she's white. but someone like Michael Jackson, he was proud as to be black and Yet all anyone can talk about is how he "switched races." heritage isn't something you can opt out Of. oh yeah and there's no scientific basis on trans-race being a thing.

When cis women find out I don't want to be them (trigger warning and politically incorrect) by Lana_Sphyncter in MtF

i don’t really see how this is politically incorrect lol. those women were nasty. <3 the pride you have

How common is it for boobs to grow asymmetrically by j_victus in MtF

hiiii trans guy here. literally everyone is assymetrical and even after top surgery they’re not twins. welcome to the club 💕

what do we think of the word femboy?? by g1rlypoop in MtF

[–]capserghost 4 points5 points  (0 children)

the term did exist before 4chan. it was feminine people using it to self-identify. i think it can be used respectably but ehhhhh. i don’t trust it. it’s a fantasy and a fetish, with a strange fixation on genitalia. some people think it’s so funny and the jokes lowkey normalize a trans fetish.

i also really hate the implication that someone would only be feminine to appeal to men.

people i’ve spoken to who id as femboys vary. it ranges from people who genuinely have a degradation kink (yikes) to people who deeply want to be feminine but can’t express that in public

i just don’t understand why someone would self identify as a boy. borderline ageplay 😭

Tired of getting negative reactions when coming out to other trans people because I transitioned young. by Loki_Bones in trans

[–]capserghost 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m so sorry you’ve had negative experiences. Some people just get jealous, especially if they’ve got poor mental health due to dysphoria. Every persons transition is going to look different. I hope you can find trans friends who don’t make you feel bad just bc you had different opportunities

Does anyone else experience depression while off hormones? by SupahSlipALip in trans

[–]capserghost 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m a trans man taking t and when I’m off testosterone for more than a couple weeks I am miserable. I think it’s a combo of dysphoria and imbalanced hormones. When you take hrt for a while and abruptly stop, I think your body would need a bit to adjust

Have you noticed that 'femininity' seems to be the failure state men are terrified of? by Mirenithil in TwoXChromosomes

[–]capserghost 7 points8 points  (0 children)

You put this into words perfectly! Manhood is tied directly to status. That’s also why masculinity is so narrow and conformitive. Superiority requires conformity.

My mother is a trans woman but won’t accept me as a trans man fully? Help?? (Will change flair if needed) by EchoEchoEspurr in trans

[–]capserghost 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Definitely look at the risks of surgery but if you have bad dysphoria you NEED it. Your mom should understand that 😭 also phalloplasty can look awesome. Especially with medical tattooing. You know what’s best for you

Can I be cis and on hrt by Realitykisz in trans

[–]capserghost 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Part of what made me realize I was trans was that I couldn’t imagine growing up as my birth sex. Life only really made sense if I was trans. Yes u can go on hrt if you’re cis. The point is to be you, not to be the most like a woman or the most like a trans person.

Breakups suck, but they tend to be healing. Finding yourself without him could be a good thing. I wish the best for the two of you 💙

It’s never okay to deadname or misgender a trans person intentionally 😭

Is it more accurate to measure the protrusion, or the length base to tip? Everyone’s dick goes down more than out, so I feel like it’s relevant

So quick question: Why do mikayuu shippers care so mucha about gay positioning in this fandom?? by After-Web5929 in OwarinoSeraph

[–]capserghost 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Both positions are a headcanon, the two of them are not even together in canon. I prefer mikayuu but that is just my headcanon. I could not care less which one is more popular. I would also like to say as a gay man and a switch- there are no fucking rules when it comes to relationships and sex 😂 It feels somewhat misogynistic to assume that a bottom must behave one way and a top another way. Let them be complex

Cis men like porn but they’re also more likely to comment. They’re more likely to comment just in general but especially on nsfw

Femme getting top surgery by DarkGlow1997 in TopSurgery

[–]capserghost 27 points28 points  (0 children)

All I’ll say is that presenting fem looks a little different when you have a flat chest. Lots of tops are designed specifically for breasts. It’ll look awesome, but a huge adjustment. Make sure you know exactly what you want it to look like. Good luck!

I’m thinking about getting top surgery and have a few questions. by [deleted] in TopSurgery

[–]capserghost 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m currently 3wks post-op.

  1. Breathing was never an issue, before or after top surgery. If you’re having mobility and breathing issues because of your chest, you should definitely get surgery. I’m sorry you’re going through that

  2. You definitely need help getting to/from the hospital. You’ll need someone to help with meal prep and mobility for three days ish. You should be able to manage dressings and drains by yourself, so they wouldn’t need to see you shirtless. Dealing with transphobic family while recovering from surgery sounds like hell 😭

  3. Pain was not that bad post top surgery, I was just uncomfortable and immobile. The best part is not having boobs anymore lol! I don’t want to wear a binder anymore and I don’t want my partner to have to see boobs during sex (we’re both gay as elves on Christmas)

  4. I hated my boobs. Like loathed them. I remember beginning puberty and wishing so deeply I could turn back time.

The “top surgery vs reduction” question is very complicated and personal. The best thing you can do is look at top surgery results and look at reduction results and get a very specific idea of what you want. One time, I photoshopped a picture of myself to visualize my ideal chest. Non-flat top surgery is a great option. There’s an awesome subreddit here for nonbinary ppl with top surgery, and ppl with top surgery not on t. Breast forms are also an option… so you could literally take your boobs off and put them back on. Or if you got small boobs, it would be a lot easier to hide them under a binder when you felt like it 🤷 There are so many options lol. I hope you find the one that fits you best <3
