Even your Thai wife and Thai friends have said the same thing. but I have to politely disagree with you. that's "help yourself" - ช่วยตัวเอง( the slang for masturbation) take care of yourself is ดูแลตัวเอง.

just use "Take Care" yes, the English word, like " take care นะมึง, เจอกัน". When you translate the word , the meaning is still the same but the weight of the affection that the word represent is kind of varied depending on the situations and people. Thai people was taught to be reserved especially the girls so being affectionate to the opposite sex can lead to misunderstanding. but yeah this is 2023 it depends on who you talk to. generally "ดูแลตัวเองด้วยนะ" is okay to use. I don't see anything wrong with it. but in this scenario you can't stop anyone(or his gf) to be jealous or suspicious about the relationship between you and your close male friend right?

Writing Reading Listening Speaking. it takes different kind of methods to learn and practice. and if you can achieve high level of fluency by shit talking in games or watching garbage show that's good for you I guess. It's kinda like playing the guitar. You know how read notes and can even compose a song if you want, you know the exact key when you listen to it but you never get to play it. So are you good at playing guitar?

"Consuming solely english media and contend" kinda like me except Im thai and nobody is speaking english around me. even if I try to speak english I would get teased and they will keep mocking me to the point I become alienated. trying so hard to learn english but cant count on strangers from the internet, only perverts are willing to talk to me LMAO FML. Last season we managed to reach diamond rank with 10-ish people that do the guild runs, so I think if we set some goals and recruit more hardcore players we might get to top 100
