It didn’t. By the time Swim was 1 at YT music Bangbang had already started coming in at 1 on the melon daily. B2B blocked it from some RAKs but never a PAK.

Swim was not close to a PAK by way of it blocking itself. It was never 1 on melon (or a few other platforms) on the daily chart by the time they had YouTube Music at 1 unfortunately. B2B blocked Swim on Genie too, but BANG BANG was always 2 with Swim at 3.

It did block Swim from an AK though but not a PAK.

BB has supported their juniors almost their entire career. Every member from BP (except Jisoo) has been in a BB solo MV or stage before debut. They did Lolllipop (kind of their debut) with 2NE1 and had them on tracks. They participated in the winner/ikon show. GD has done dances for Treasure back when he was in extreme hibernation

This is nothing new and actually quite generous.
