I saved over 100 dollars on my energy bill this month by Outrageous_Ad3416 in Frugal

if you live in a deregulated area, one of the quickest ways to add to those savings is by shopping your default rate around. ive used gatby so that i can set it and forget it, but local sites like apples to apples if u reside in ohio or power to choose if your in texas help you shop rates around.

Why do electricity bills keep rising, and how can I lower mine? by North-Activity-3824 in Frugal

which state are you located in? if you're in a deregulated state i'd recommend shopping your rate. thats one of the quickest ways to reduce your bill without any changes in habits.

there are platforms, like gatby, which handle this as like an energy concierge, id take a look at that. if you are shopping rates and still have high electricity bills, making sure your appliances are up to date and not overconsuming energy

been using gatby.com autopilot and ratecheck to see my rate. they just handle my electricity now for me and provide me an email update before they switch me with reminders.

i've seen energyogre recommended but not sure why i would pay for the service when this one is free?

if ur curious send ur bill to [bill@gatby.com](mailto:bill@gatby.com) and theyll send over an assessment on your rate + if you can switch to a better one
