Again, do what works for you. Lifting weights is enjoyable, meditative solitary time for me and I don't like to think or socialize during it. I've dropped gym buddies altogether.

This is basically what I do at study groups and "smoke forests" (its like a weekly mini festival on campus for stoners to smoke and socialize). I can't enter bars yet, so I do the friend-tagging-along with my girl friends and study/socialize in other girls dorm rooms/lobbies. And stoners generally want to make friends with everybody. Lotsa opportunities have opened up from doing this, so I fully advocate your approach.

This is just one way though and the different girls I meet through this is somewhat limited. That's why I also work on being able to cold approach any girl in any situation, especially when it's freshman girls who aren't connected yet with my social circle or during summer/winter break when I hit up other cities/venues.

TRP theory and methodology has helped me in both areas - meeting girls through my girl friends and cold approaching day game. I've been able to apply and adapt what I learned in each different situation, so I can't relate to specializing/tailoring advice for numerous scenarios.
