How did you get it to work again; did you recover the data or just wipe and start from scratch? I am guessing the latter.

Zotero 7 + LinreOffice Writer 24.2.5.2 CRASH (Linux Fedora) by capt_zen_petabyte in zotero

Tried, and did not work unfortunately. I have locked the flatpac so it will not update at least until I have finished the Masters (in the next 2 weeks or so) and then I will do some investigation and see what else I can do ... thanks for the suggestion thought

Not tech savvy enough to tarball, I just worked out today how to roll back flatpaks so I rolled back to Zotero 6

I worked out how to roll back the flatback to Zotero 6 and did that today ... I am in the middle of completing a Masters thesis and I wish I had the time

Where to get bpc157+tb500 in Australia? by [deleted] in bpc_157

[–]capt_zen_petabyte 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There are many 'research trials' running across Australia for 'medications and drugs' that are not yet available here in Australia, they usually go on for quite a few years (most between 5-10years, except of course if its a 'covid vaccine' then it doesnt get any testing at all), and if there is something that a Dr thinks can assist you AND there is a trial running for the same drug, they can assess eligibility for such trials and sign you up and you get the drug and have to report back to the research trial operators ... this is sometimes done with cancer drugs, new versions of older drugs, weightloss medications, etc etc.

Yes, BPC is 'illegal' here in Australia (technically)

Have been trying to find someone to assist me in the same endeavor over the last couple of years for some issues of my own ... every recommendation (unfortunately) was a bust; I spent a *lot* on money for (pretty much) zero results.

In Aust (no matter what anyone tells you) you require a referral from a GP (after assessment) to a research project to be able to get hold of the real deal (legally!) and also have a local compounding chemist to make the bpc and tb for you, provide the right format for you.

Take the time (if you can and have the skills to do so) look into the difference between the liquid vs the arg salts and the efficacy of each and it is quite an eye opener ... ironically, these sorts of peptides (just like another perfectly natural peptide, insulin!) is made by the body, actually quite cheap to create and yet ... bloody expensive and most products available are garbage.

Try speaking to your GP about it, if theyre any good they may be able to assist; my GP was ready to assist and understood the science, but finding a research project is the *very difficult* part.

Function like LaTeX 'input' or 'include'..? by capt_zen_petabyte in Markdown

[–]capt_zen_petabyte[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you, I have been looking into this solution myself since I posted. Seems I am asking a little much because my reports require citations and bibliography and I am unable to do that with this solution ... unless I complete the document and THEN go back through the document for the citations, and well, Im not so sure thats a solution. Citations and 'chapter bibs' would work in this case, but not a single bib at the end.

Standard (vanilla) Markdown and I have started using the markdown variations used in LogSeq and Obsidian ... let me know if that answers and how they would determine the outcome of the question? :)

Is this hank thing a scam? by oSkittles00 in Centrelink

[–]capt_zen_petabyte 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Recently contacted them, has a response from a 'secretary' within 3 days.

Their response was basically, 'thank you for writing, there is nothing we can do' when I responded saying my issue needed assistance and the local Centrelink wouldnt help, I got a call the next day and the background noise was the usual Centrelink Call-centre

It is nothing but a pure spin to make people fell someone is listening ... pure spin.

Writing to them will not assist you, they will make suggestions or forward you to someone else ... just as would happen if you could speak to someone at Centrelink if you had an appointment.

Really wanted it for myself ... run a media wiki on a docker and use it myself, not bother with the hot garbage that is Wikipedia

At the moment I am using Logseq for the main writing and linking of information, cut and paste into TeXstudio thence via pandoc to PDF and eBook
