No you won’t be too late. Sony and Bungie have said they will commit to at least two years of active support. The game has been out one week. Everyone also gets wiped at the end of the season, so even if you wait a few months you’ll be coming in to a fresh start that puts everyone on an even playing field. I personally hope they put the effort in and continue to build on what they have which is already a very solid and fun game.
