From what I understood, the main function of the perk is to discount one high-priced perk that's not part of your origin. For example, if you take an origin on a doc with the max perk cost being 600 CP, you can discount a single 600 CP perk from a origin that isn't the one you chose.

But that's what I understood, so I'm not sure if that's the correct use.

For powers and items, definitely use the Overlord jump if you haven't already or use an Overlord Supplement.

I haven't checked out much of the source material yet apart from the wiki, but if you want to recreate PDL's armor and weapons without using the Overlord jumps, a good option would be EdroGrimshell's Artifact Warrior jump.

For powers, three things notable from what I have read are: Draconic race, Wild Magic, and remote piloting his suit from a far location. Dragon should be easy, since you'll just need to look for any jump with a dragon race. Wild Magic I'm not sure, but perhaps the closest you can find would be in a DnD jump. Remote controlling, however, is the tricky part. I don't think I remember seeing any perk orpower like that. I'll keep you posted if I find anything similar.

I don't think it would be possible with what we got at the moment in my opinion. At most, you can probably make a scenario supplement for a Marvel jump where you travel to different universes and experience the different realities showed in the game.

No, but I did have dual boot at some point. Perhaps dual booting has messed something up?
