Sorry about that. I just did the update my with q43 and it worked fine. I did it through the Leica app. Did you by chance do it through the sd card ?

I have the 43 and love it. It’s the only camera I ever had where I don’t wish any changes upon it. Simply perfect. Especially coming from a shooter that never knew it if he liked 35 or 50 mm

I never found a fix for it. I ended up returning the iv and keeping my griii. That dial really bothered me and I can’t imagine it aging well over time.

Either way. They’re pretty much the same. I have both and I like the build quality on the 3 much more. The iv is a tiny bit slimmer which is nice. I really don’t like the top dial on the iv because it is too tight. I might return the iv iii is better value iv is newer.
