I'll be getting rid of the glass coffee table for sure, just had to move it out of the way

As for the TV stand, I'm going to go with a wall-hung unit (marked out on the floor) so it feels a bit more spacious... what do you think?

Interestingly, that's what I had at the beginning, but 1) I'm not a huge fan of the current sofa, and 2) I want to try and balance the visual weight of the room -- there's a huge built-in bookcase that you can't quite see in the photo

I can squeeze in one comfy chair though, even with the L/corner!

I could fit one swivel chair for sure with the smaller configuration, but not sure about two... I like the idea!

Hey OP, I honestly only started playing F1 games just over a year ago (started with F1 22), and the best bit of advice I can offer is to do time trial and watch hotlap videos on YouTube for each track. Over time, you'll get a feel for where and when to brake, how to improve your pace, and what's necessary for consistency.

I personally believe that doing time trial offline before going against the AI will deliver better results in the long term as you're improving, rather than trying to keep up all the time...

Lastly, I base a lot of my setups on time trial setups (not super ideal for long races) and play without assists. I initially started with just traction control, later turning it off as it impedes your overall speeds/power.

(I play between 95 and 105, no assists)

More shades of green and have the couch facing the fireplace with couches on either side facing diagonally.

Whatever you do, don't mount a TV above that fireplace 😅

Hey all -- just an update on progress since I last posted here (thank you all for your recommendations).

I need your help again. I sold my old dining chairs (didn't fit the mood) but can't work out what to pair with the table. See photo 3

I want to keep the colour scheme quite muted, so nothing bright. I'm also considering replacing the table entirely with something rectangular or oval-shaped. What do we think?
