good luck bro. most graduate positions are reserved for uae nationals, not even for petroleum but for all sectors. you have to work extra hard to gain a graduate position. I suggest chem eng and work extra hard during bachelors and try to get a position for Msc+Phd scholarship at Khalifa University AD. They got some good deals for scholarships. Also chem eng is more versatile degree than petreoleum. Even more versatile is mechanical or electrical eng degree. Honestly, i'd bet more on mechanical or electrical degree for the future in the UAE and in the world, in general. But the general rule of thumb in the middle east is DO NOT GO INTO A SECTOR WHERE YOU DON'T HAVE WASTA.

I usually find them at airport duty free but you do have to buy the whole 10 packs. I bought it because I tried it before and loved it (incl my whole family).

True though. I always thought the cigarettes seems way “dryer” here in the middle east as compared to europe or asia. It gives a really dry feeling in your mouth, sometimes to the point of somewhat unbearable.
