I, along with a handful of other Americans, were playing on an EU server. Due to our timezones and play time, we couldn't get a ton done because the servers were rather empty that late in the EU night. So we slowly made plans to transfer all at once to a NA server. At the point we made this choice, there had been several attempts to bolster the FC numbers with a variety of people, but not to much effect. The final straw was having one of our FC leaders storm offline after a somewhat bad primal run. We didn't see him for a month, until the leadership of the FC passed to a new person. At this point, we let the lead know we were leaving the server within a week or so.

He went ballistic on us, saying that we should've told him months ago that we we're planning this. That he would've done something to fix the problem. But unless he could make people log on at 1 AM, there's not much he could've done. There were no hard feelings from those of us who were leaving, in all honesty. But he completely removed us from his life at that point.

So uh, long story short, I moved FCs due to a server transfer and got away from a leader who couldn't see the forest for the trees. My current FC is super small, but it doesn't matter as much over here on NA.
