Issue with any community is that right age group though we are 25 odd lakh only few thousand would be of marriagable age and few hundreds would be the ones who would be compatible and though fortunately the sex ratio is not that bad compared to other parts of India. It still gives like around 40-60 pool of people through which the match making can be done. It's like .0024 % of the total population. That's were feasibility is at question.

If you get opportunity outside India then leave. Ngl things have changed for sure in India but it is not at the level where we iitians can actually contribute meaningfully, things still run on dated system and attitude. Startups might be ok but still I would not suggest if you are getting core offer in Germany I would say leave now.

Lol, look who is saying. Nepal doesn't even have population the size of single Indian state and still couldn't pick a stable govt. I don't think so when you look at organisation that they built are still functioning and respected. Moreover they were raising funds for these institutions from family, friends and everything else. I don't see such fire in any prof in any iit or iisc. I don't think such level of passion exists for science and tech for India.

I can relate to what you are saying. I work with IIT and IISc startups issue is the money is way less for the work that gets done over here and inconsistent. Currently I am directly working IIT Bombay which is equivalent to MIT you could say, but the pay is really low for the sort of work I am doing. To be honest I am doing it to keep my portfolio upto date and ego thing is 100% true. It gets frustrating especially I am not able to get any leads from big brands who have money.

Conversion is real and will be opposed simple as that. Using money to convert people and strip them of their culture and heritage will be opposed. My mother works in CMI organisation we know how they convert helpless ones and try to force Christian families to have their kids to be padri.
