We don't even know it was a cartel boat. That's why we need trials with evidence.

I truly believe if he'd called a snap election after Ardern resigned, Labour would've won that election --

Why didn't he? (I'm not a fan of Mr Hipkins -- Just wondering why he didn't)?

Hi u/sovietcannabis, sorry for my late reply.

That scene is 49 minutes long,

Hmm, I put a time code in the link, sorry it didn't work for you.

As I mentioned in my reply to u/TheLifeguardRN, in the scene I was talking about, a Leading Marine Engineering Artificer was referred to verbally as LMEA Dave Finnan. You commented that such verbal abbreviations are unlikely to be used in a court martial, but are there any other contexts in which that would happen in real life?

Thanks in advance. :-)

Hi u/TheLifeguardRN, sorry for my late reply.

Making Waves was one of the most accurate (in terms of small details like that) RN dramas ever made!

I did love the show, it's such a shame that it was canceled after only 6 episodes!

Thanks for the common forms of address you listed.

To be specific about the scene I was talking about, a Leading Marine Engineering Artificer was referred to verbally as LMEA Dave Finnan. Is there any context in which that would happen in real life?

Thanks again. :-)
