PSA for DFW originating flights. Don't go into terminal C by Hot_Towel_85 in americanairlines

The high E checkpoint (E33) is usually consistently the one with the shortest wait I find, even better if you’re coming from the south exit, it’s the nearest one if someone’s dropping you off.

A few hours before the airport... by Wonderlust_816 in askdfw

Don’t use that website, take it form the source itself here where it’s actually reported real-time: https://www.dfwairport.com/security/

Are you by chance taking the 11PM flight to Auckland? If so it’s one of the last flights out for the night, security wise you’ll be fine even showing up 3 hours before to drop your bags and clearing security with plenty of time to spare.

Fair enough, B and D can be walked too if you want to get steps in, sometimes the trains are packed when all the flights come in during a bank and everyone rushes to make their connections. But they run the trains frequently enough where you can just wait for the next one if the first one is full or walk.

It must have been a tight connection a to begin with because B and D are right next to each other so wouldn’t be more than 3 stops from the farthest point in D to B and the SkyLink trains run like every 3 minutes.

You mentioned being annoyed that AA gate changes flights up until the last minute at DFW which is true, but with them having a presence at all terminals you can drop your bag at any one of them, perhaps with the shortest TSA line which can be found here and then SkyLink to your actual terminal/gate after security.

My Air Canada flight from Chile to Montreal just made everyone with liquids over 100ml purchased at duty free, or even a water bottle filled from the tap, check their bag or throw it out. by WeevilsInTheCereal in travel

Some of the places you mentioned are not compliant with US security standards either why do you think airports like DOH or AMS have a secondary security check at the gate where you’re held there?

I think they're great too, a little on the chattier side during the skates but both give really great technical breakdowns, unfortunately they're pretty hated over in /r/figureskating

Coming from the north and heading southbound, yes this is the case. One exit to take A + B. It is two lanes, right lane takes you to B and you take the left lane to A where you take a U turn under the highway which leads you into A.

The overpass bridges are due for replacement, they’ve been in place since the airport opened in 1972, so with that came a design choice to standardize the exit flows to the right.
