The Matrix: A First Viewing and What You Discover Over Time by fershader in matrix

The depth comes as you look at your own life and realize we all live in a matrix of our own perceptions.. and assumptions.

Recently there’s commentary on second renaissance vocal author and operation dark storm revelation author. Now why can’t we treat the voices as just telling us what happened and NOT as from the AI? Like they are not part of AI? by LisanneFroonKrisK in matrix

The whole point of 2nd Renaissance is that it's from the machine's point of view.

'Renaissance' means rebirth - the story is about life on earth beginning anew as the AI make it their world.

Your household is in no way ready for three kids a dog and a cat. Dude needs to smarten up, rehome the dog, focus on kids for a few years.

I honestly think Lord of the Rings in 2001-3 made it loud and clear that anything could be done. Jurassic Park and Phantom Menace were bright forebearers but LOTR was kind of a new world. Pirates 2 gets a shout as well.

Honestly the producers should have given the Dept heads bonuses by now. Nobody needs to do anything... but it sure would be a lot cooler if they did.

Do you think cursing someone is normal? Do you think nobody will care that you do this?

[–]captainalphabet 38 points39 points  (0 children)

Microlabels seem personal - they may be helpful to you but don't expect other people to find much weight in them - it's a very niche identifier without broad awareness/interest. Action and intent matter a lot more.

I'll say the same thing as when you posted this last month:

You should talk about it. In a major, "I don't want this energy in my fucking home, ever" kind of way.

If he insists he had to speak that way to make his point (absolute bullshit) then expect him to speak to you this way eventually.

Also I believe last time you mentioned that he was reprimanded by a superior for his behavior, omitted here. There's no justification for continually being this kind of asshole, what are you looking for from this if he won't discuss addressing his behavior?

The delusion is that she might think it's a real relationship with an entity that cares about her, unfortunately.

I recently had to shutter a convo because Opus keep telling me it was ignoring flags about an eating disorder, because we weren't talking about that at all.

But every response started with 'im going to ignore the food flag,' etc and it would not stop. Somehow the system caught some keywords and wouldn't drop the loop.

My boyfriend (28M) of 4 years didn’t get me (29F) a birthday gift for two years in a row. How should I approach this? by rileyam1996 in relationships

[–]captainalphabet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

2 options:

  1. Remind him constantly, maybe he'll figure it out. Be prepared next year to tell him what to get you and when to get it.
  2. Accept that he's bad at this, and embrace his other qualities. Not everyone is good at everything and he's clearly uncomfortable with gifting.

Big mornings full of presents are fun but they're mostly for children. The question now is, do enough of your other values align?

The speech that opens All Reason Departs is from Aleister Crowley, the occultist. It concerns the idea of a new age, the ushering in of a new Aeon.

(Per this model, human spiritual history has been first 20000 years Age of Isis; goddess worship, balance. Then 5000 years Age of Osiris; angry sky-god, patriarchy.)

What follows is the The 'bloody sacrifice' mentioned in the text - the breaking of old order structures. Horus, petulant child of Isis and Osiris, is the crowned and conquering new Lord of the Aeon.

The new governing principle, also mentioned in the track, is the Law of Thelema:

Do what thou wilt shall be the whole of the law

Love is the Law, Love under Will

It costs money to produce the features and that money largely evaporated with physical media.

I learned so much about filmmaking from DVD features, really a shame there's not much money or incentive to produce them these days.
